Scientists: silverfish DO bite! And you are incompetent if you do not know that yet!
I was just bitten by a silverfish on my wrist when I was sleeping. It was the second time I got bitten, and it was on the same place. And no, I’m not mistaking it by an earwig. They DO BITE (or sting) and it’s been hurting for half an hour already. I SAW it on my wrist when I woke up with a sharp sting sensation, and I am sure because I’m trying to handle an infestation and I sleep with low lights on all night because of my newborn. Now I wonder if they do not indeed carry some disease, because the main information for me spread on the Internet is wrong! They do bite.
